My new kitchen

My new kitchen is almost finished. It is really lovely - a bit smaller than our last one so there has been some juggling to fit everything back in. The house is so much lighter now and the family room has more space. it's like a new house!

Beautiful NZ

And I am back home for my Summer break!! Beautiful wintry, cool weather and heaps of green!! I took this photo on the way home from visiting Sheryl in Paeroa. The Kaimais are in the backgound. A real NZ scene.

Dinner at the Intercon.

My team went to dinner at the Intercontinental "The Wok" before coming home. On the left is Myrese, me, Marion and Mandy. Note the swimming pool in the backgound - very nice) In the middle is Nadia (she's an egyptian teacher who came to keep Wa'ed company), and Wa'ed - out translator (Palestinian). On the right is Adele. We had a lovely night in lovely surroundings.

Soveunda party

We had a "Shoveunda" party at Julia's the week before we finished. A "shoveunda" is a present your great aunt would give you that you immediately "shoveunda" the bed. It was hilarious fun and we got some great gifts - ones we would never buy!! (Note the painting I did for Julia at the back of her lounge!)

End of the year.
